We’re anxiously awaiting official confirmation of this, and the school closure list has been shown to local media, but DC government has prohibited them from reporting the closures until 4pm.
We discussed the possibility of Spingarn or Browne closing last week. Spingarn has lagged behind many other schools, with high truancy and low student proficiency in math and reading.
